Attention iOS 8 users: Have you found this outstanding new shortcut for adding notes in Evernote?

It is called the Evernote widget and once turned on, it allows you to create Evernote notes from any screen - even on a locked screen - by accessing the Evernote quick note buttons in the Apple notification center (accessible with a downward swipe from any screen on your mobile device).

Users do need to enable this feature to use it. This tutorial walks you through how to activate the Evernote widget and then define the order of your widgets so that Evernote appears at the top. Note that this feature is available on Evernote for iPhone, iPad, and iPad Touch version 7.5 or higher running iOS 8.
