Our Community on Circle, at access.harmonenterprises.com, is a members-only space for Harmon Enterprises customers. It's home to the Academy, our courses (such as the EverDone System Course), and our challenges and other special events, which are short-term (such as the Starting Fresh with Evernote Challenge).
These guidelines apply to everyone with access to the Community, whatever you bought. What you can do there, and for how long, depends on your product. Some products include posting, commenting and live sessions, while others give you access to specific spaces only. Some access is short-term, like a challenge, and some lasts as long as your membership or, like the EverDone System Course, for life. The rules about your profile apply to everyone, and the rest apply whenever your access includes those features.
These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. By joining and using the Community, you agree that you've read them and will follow them.
What's expected from everyone
Keep discussions relevant
- Each space in the Community has a purpose, such as Evernote training, a course or a challenge. Posts should fit the purpose of the space you're in.
- The Community isn't a place to air software grievances or spread negativity about Evernote or the other tools we teach.
- Although it's a community, it isn't a social network. Posts should reflect a relevant question, training or learning goal. There's room for opinions, discussion and support, but posts that don't fit the purpose of a space may be treated as a violation of our Terms of Service.
- The Community isn't an official Evernote channel. To report bugs, request features, or share feedback or complaints, use Evernote's official channels.
Use your real name
This is a community of real people, so members can't be anonymous or use a username. Use your real name, typically the name you used when you bought access. At a minimum, your profile needs your first name and last initial. Your email address is visible only to admins unless you choose to show it in your settings. We'll ask anyone using a username or an incomplete name to update their profile.
English only
The Community has a global membership, rich with members fluent in many languages, but it supports communication in English only.
Be kind
There's no need to be mean, rude, offensive or political.
Don't promote, sell or spam
There are plenty of places on the internet for that. Our Community isn't one of them. That means no promoting your own or anyone else's products, services, groups or events, no affiliate or referral links, and no asking members for business, whether in posts, comments, direct messages or by contacting members outside the Community, unless Stacey has approved it first.
Keep what's shared in the Community inside the Community
Don't download, copy, screenshot, screen-record or share trainings, replays or posts outside the Community without permission, and never share other members' posts, names or information. Notes for your own personal use, including recording live sessions or replays or clipping Community content into your own Evernote account, are fine as long as you don't share them.
Our training videos and replays aren't downloadable, by design. They're our content, and we own them. Downloading, scraping or copying them, or keeping your own copies, by any method (download tools, browser extensions, AI tools or screen recording), is against these guidelines and our Terms of Service, and may lead to removal from the Community. We know these tools exist and that we can't always tell when they're used, but that doesn't make it allowed. Notes, transcripts and screenshots for your own reference are fine. Copies of the videos themselves aren't. (Recording a live session or a replay as you watch it, for your own notes, is the one exception.)
Remember that the Community is members-only, not private
- Stacey, our team and other members may see what you post and share in the Community. What you post becomes part of the Community, which belongs to Harmon Enterprises. We may quote your posts or share screenshots of them in our marketing and training, usually credited to "Academy member" or a similar description, sometimes with your first name or profile photo. If you'd rather we didn't use something you posted, let us know and we'll take it down. Our Terms of Service explain the details.
- Assume that every Community meeting and training is recorded. Even when we don't record a session, other attendees may, and with today's AI note-taking tools, we can't guarantee that any session isn't being recorded. (Recording meetings in Evernote is one of the skills we practice together.) Our replays are shared with members. If you'd rather not appear, keep your camera off and your microphone muted, or post your question ahead of time.
- Blur sensitive details (financial, health or other personal information) out of screenshots before you post them.
Send access and billing questions to support
If you have trouble accessing the Community or any part of it (the event calendar, for example), or have a billing question, contact our support team rather than posting in the Community. Posts about access or billing will be removed, and we'll follow up with you directly. You'll find our support email in your welcome email and at the bottom of our Terms of Service, or you can use our Contact page.
How we keep the Community a good place to learn
- To keep discussions civil and useful, Harmon Enterprises may moderate, delete or turn off commenting on any conversation, post or direct message at any time, for any reason.
- If someone breaks these guidelines, Harmon Enterprises may suspend or end their access right away. Removal ends their access to the Community and any related Products, and cancels any membership, without a refund.
- We may update these guidelines at any time. The current version is always on this page and linked from the Start Here space in the Community.
Effective November 2, 2026, replacing the Academy guidelines of May 7, 2023.
